I have a freelancer website that focuses on a particular niche. The "site" is actually composed of three separate sites; Joomla, a freelancer script, and a Questions and Answers script. You will not have to work with the Joomla site, just the Freelancer and Q&A script. The site is focused on lawyers and legal clients.
Tasks:
1. Separate the existing Registration flow in the Freelancer script for lawyers and clients. The script/site currently allows users to register as either a Client or Attorney from one common registration process. I want this changed. Instead, there should be two registration processes: one process for Clients and a separate registration process for Lawyers. However, both will have the same forms/Questions. I've seen this done elsewhere by simply duplicating the existing files and then just distinguishing the file names (in addition to a few other adjustments). Hopefully, it'll be applicable here.
2. Merge the registration/login process for the Freelancer script/site and the Questions/Answers script. I want users to have access to both, but not have to register and/or login for both. Once the user has registered in the Freelancer script, they should have access to both the freelancer and Q&A script. Once they are logged in, they should have access to both. Also, the profile data from their registration should show up in both scripts.
3. Restrict access in the Q&A script based on Role. Currently, anyone registered in the Q&A script can answer questions. This needs to be changed. Only users who have registered as attorneys can answer questions in the Q&A script.
Please send questions if any clarification is needed.
