We want to add a map on our WP based website which will allow our users to signup to pray for a street in Durham,NC area. The detailed requirements of the Project are shown below. We are flexible with the type of mapping platform you use as long as it can be integrated with our website.
1. A google-maps like map that displays a map of downtown Durham, North Carolina. Each street should be highlighted with a color if it's being prayed for at
that point in time.
2. If you click on a non-highlighted street, a popup should appear.
This should be called something like, "Pray for this street", and
should contain fields for the dates you'll be praying for it, and an
optional field for your email address.
2.b. Ideally, the date fields will open a calendar widget that allows
you to select a start date and end date, just as though you were
making a flight reservation, say.
3. If you click on a highlighted street, a popup should appear
entitled, "This street is being prayed for from X through Y. Pick
another time to pray for this street" and the date selection fields
should be below.
3.b. Just as in 2b, a calendar widget should appear. However, it
should disallow the user from selecting the dates during which the
street is already prayed for.
4. Obviously, all of this prayer data is being put into a backend
prayer database, which contains entries for email address, street
name, and prayer dates.
5. It'd be nice for a csv report to be generated from the database
information that displays the following: # of times that a street has
been prayed for, top 20 users who pray a lot, and current percentage
of streets being prayed for as of the time this report was generated.
I'd say the priorities are 1-4, excluding 2b. and 3b.
