Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the website: Authenticate Users Against Azure AD, Display Analytic Data and Embed Power BI Reports
Kind of development: New website from scratch
Description of every page/module: We require a web app to be built that we can use as a template we can customise to suit future customers.
The aim of the app will be to display analytical reports from data held in Azure SQL databases. This will be in the form of KPIs on a front page, though the main aim of the app is the ability to embed Power BI reports. We will also require the app to be authenticated using Azure Active Directory and group/role membership of the user to be passed to the app. This is for consumption by Power BI and/or to determine access to certain pages.
I envisage the following pages will be required:
Master layout page - to include collapsible menu and display loged in user details
Home dashboard page showing a handful of KPIs - these will need to be customisable for each client
Embedded Power BI pages - simply a frame for embedding the Power BI report but pushes groups/roles from Azure AD to allow for role level security in the Power BI report (from JSON Web Token: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/power-bi-embedded/power-bi-embedded-rls)
File upload page - visibility and access conditional on membership of a specific group/role and allows upload of a file to Azure blob storage
Description of requirements/features: We will require the Visual Studio project files so we can customise the app for future use. We have redumentary knowledge of building apps in asp.net web forms and MVC and will require something we can amend as each client dictates. Therefore, all code must be commented throughout to explain exactly what each section is achieving. All code must be properly formatted/indented for readability.
We are familiar with using Bootstrap to aid the look and feel of a web site and applying/amending themes so this will ideally be incorporated into the basic template.
The app will have the same look and feel as the following Power BI embedded sample: http://jarmanypowerbiembed.azurewebsites.net/ but will have the added functionality of authentication and authorisation using Azure AD (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/active-directory-code-samples)
Extra services needed: Customization, Security
Specific technologies required: Azure AD, Power BI
Extra notes: Ideally the developer would be available to attend our office (Kingston upon Thames) on at least one day to hand over the project.
You would be required to sign an NDA before commencing any work with our company.

Considering the proposals received to this point, i was wondering if you have already shortlisted or identified someone to work with, or are still accepting proposals?
