Description
Experience Level: Expert
NOTE TO ALL: thanks for all of the interest, but I thought it'd be best to clarify why I'm not responding to you all right now. I am occasionally checking the site on my phone, buts it's not ideal to properly look at your portfolios etc.
I won't be able to check your proposals or respond properly until Tuesday 4th June due to other commitments. Please consider Tuesday 12pm as the deadline to get first draft proposals in by... I will give jpegs of the site to people after this date and we can flesh out the details then. But please do give me as good a sales pitch as you can from the offset as to why you are good and why your coding would be better than everyone else.
As for the job, it's the coding and construction of a 12 page site. I already have the PSD files for the desktop version. I beed that converted into a RWD site with a CMS that is easy for me to maintain/update.
There is no ecommerce functionality or fancy flash etc - it's just a basic brochure site but with a blog, a resources area for site visitors to download pdfs once they have given their contact details, a contact page will need to integrate with google maps and allow a basic call back facility. There will be other functionality but it won't be anything major or unusual. I will provide images of the pages and more details to those who I shortlist.
The site must be immaculatley constructed and pixel perfect. It must load quickly and consistently across all browsers and platforms. There must be no errors or bugs.
If you wish to provide a proposal I must have examples of work done by you that can show me how you have constructed a responsive web design site before (with proof that you actually made it) and technical details of how you will implement my design into an actual website and why you have chosen the route you have.
My proposed budget will remain at £1000 - which is very generous for the actual amount if work required, so you are competing on quality and technical expertise, not price. You must also convince me you are damn good! ;)
Thanks,
Michael
