We have agreements with many suppliers that enable us to provide businesses with the tools to accept card payments.
We have multiple providers, multiple suppliers, multiple solutions and multiple rates. Each one has their own matrices that details their products, rental rates, contract lengths and the commission amounts that are payable to us. In addition, each provider has their own wholesale rates for card transaction charges based on average transaction values.
Currently all matrices can only be used by trawling through several printed pages or use the PDF versions on a device. This is not a practical solution when in front of a customer; therefore, we need a better solution that is a web-based quotation and comparison engine that can be used on any device. We need a quote and a commission calculator.
Usage
• Internally for when quoting customers
• Field Sales Team for when face to face to a customer
• At some stage we need it customer facing too
Key Objectives
• We require a solution to help us amalgamate our multiple matrices from multiple providers with multiple solutions.
• We need the solution to allow queries/filters to find the right solution.
• We require the solution to help us generate a quote/proposal to a customer detailing their requirements and rates.
• By use of queries/filters the solution needs to calculate the card processing rates.
• The solutions should also calculate the commission that we would earn based on that quote/proposal.
• The solution also needs to calculate a Resellers commissions when they generate a quote for a customer. Commissions vary from provider to provider, some richer than others. To avoid Resellers selling products that earn them more commissions rather than selling by service, we need to find a uniformed commission formula and yet be competitive.
• The solution needs to integrate within our CRM system (Zoho).
• For existing card users, we need to be able to input the details from a customer’s statement and ‘work out’ the best package for them and demonstrate a saving.

• Agreement Length – 1 day to 89 days (Short-term), 1yr, 2yrs, 3yrs, 4yrs and 5 yrs
• Acquirer Features – No Refund Charges, No Auth Fees, Live Portal, Faster Payments, etc

We need to consider the number of users that can use the solution at any one time without it breaking down; so there hosting the solution on a dedicated cloud maybe a necessity depending on the final solution type.
