Visualise/illustrate business concept

Information for the business: Business consultancy
Design details: In my consultancy we use a framework to examine the elements of a 'digital workplace'.
Right now it is just a block diagram (see the attached pdf) that started out as a mindmap. What I'd like is a representation that is much more visually appealing that could be used as a poster and in PowerPoint presentations.

The work would involve:
1) Sketching 4-5 ideas of how it might be represented
2) Developing the best option with 2-3 variants
3) Creating a finished version of the whole thing that can be used in posters and PowerPoint.
Target audience: Business
Ideas for the visual style: The design that comes to mind is a tree with 5 main branches and 5 main roots, but I'd love to see other representations.
Where the design will be used: Mostly documents, some web and print
Extra notes: The framework is basically a tree with two branches, each having 5 sub-branches (see slides 4, 6 & 8 of the attachment). These sub-branches have 2-6 3rd-level branches.



I'd like some visual appeal to come by differentiating the branches too - for example one branch is about communicating, another about mobile working, so these could be illustrated.
