YouTube Video Editor – Educational Channel for Teachers

I'm seeking a skilled video editor to collaborate on my educational YouTube channel aimed at teachers, trainers, and assessors in the UK. To start, I’d like to see a 1-minute sample edit to evaluate how well your style aligns with my vision. This sample will be from the intro section of a video titled “SMART Goals are DUMB (do this instead!).” If the collaboration is successful, we’ll start with one 5-8 minute video per month, with the potential to increase in the future.

Project Details
Sample Edit: 1 minute of the intro section.
Future Work: One video/month (5-8 minutes) with potential for more. Rate: £140 per video.
Footage Provided: Talking head with greenscreen. If you can key out the greenscreen within the price, even better!
Delivery: Draft within 3 days; final delivery of test edit after feedback.
Editing Style and Requirements
Style: Upbeat, professional, suitable for YouTube learning. Emphasis on quick edits, smooth transitions, and well-timed text animations.
Pacing: Engaging, with quick cuts at the start to capture attention.
Graphics: Use Montserrat Bold or Montserrat Black for titles, Arial Bold for subtitles. Include animated text highlights.
Visuals: Add B-roll, stock footage, and animations where appropriate. I’ll provide access to selected clips as needed.
Audio/Colour: I will provide colour-graded footage and sync files; ensure seamless integration of sound effects and smooth audio transitions.
Deliverables
Export Format: Final edit in 1080p, MP4 format.
Assets Provided: Links to all necessary assets (Google Drive), including a script with visual notes, template files, and audio assets.
