Description
Experience Level: Expert
Looking for a capable video editor for 3-6 months to edit tutorial videos for a new software product called Canvas.
The product helps people build apps without writing code, and we are creating a library of tutorial videos to help educate our users on how it works.
The videos will be similar in style to what we've already got on our Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPLtjoesk3EVFrX-Gy3a3OQ
Some of these videos will be lessons within courses, others will be standalone videos to be hosted on Youtube.
Creating the videos has been a one-man operation up until this point, but we're looking to ramp up production considerably over the next few months and this is where we'd like a dedicated editor to help us out.
This will be consistent work for the right applicant. You should expect 5-8 hours of work a week, sometimes more, sometimes less. All going well, there's a very good chance we'd have more longer term work beyond the 6 months as well.
**Some practical details**
- Motion graphics experience is a plus. We have used these sparingly thus far but would love someone who can bring a bit of creative flair and ideas for how to improve the visual look of the videos
- We always have 2 or 3 shots recorded simultaneously, one PTC, one screen-recording, and one overhead shot for sketching on paper. So multicam editing will be a part of every video. We'll supply the video and external audio files and are looking for someone to edit them into the final video.
- We prefer if you work in Premiere as that's what we use, but it's not a deal-breaker if not.
