Hey Chuck,
Kindly address some of my concerns regarding the project so that I can deliver something exactly like you are looking for:
- I love the concept of combining cooking and travel — is there a specific vibe or storytelling tone you're aiming for (e.g., cinematic like Chef’s Table, fun & fast-paced like Worth It, or more documentary-style)?
- Are you looking for someone to help define the brand’s visual style across platforms — like consistent intro/outro formats, fonts, or transitions — or do you already have a style guide?
- Will I be working with a content calendar or batching system for uploads, or is the schedule more fluid depending on your travel/filming plans?
- Would you like me to suggest and cut additional viral reels from the long-form episodes even if not requested, especially if I spot engaging or funny moments?
- If this becomes a long-term collaboration, would you be open to me contributing to the creative strategy — like channel trailer creation, A/B testing hooks for retention, or consulting on analytics?
Thank You!Chuck L.06 Sep 2025- There are several aspects to the show. When we shoot at restaurants and bars we interview the owner or manager to get the back story and to understand why customers choose this establishment. We film the chef cooking the favorite dishes or the bar tender making unique house drinks. We close by doing a tasting.
When I cook at home I demonstrate how to make the restaurant quality dishes primarily from scratch.
I video travel destinations and also take picture. These will require a narrative to be added.
- We are currently evolving the brand’s visual style across platforms including consistent intro/outro formats, fonts, and transitions. We definitely expect input on how to best create the style. Continuous feedback is welcome and required to improve the episodes.
- We are using scheduling system for uploads, and building a backload of content. As such, the editor can work from a flexible schedule, although we do want a full time editor.
- Would definitely want suggestions and cuts for additional viral reels from the long-form episodes e, especially if you spot engaging or funny moments?
- We want this to be a long-term collaboration, and require the editor to be contributing to the creative strategy — including channel trailer creation, A/B testing hooks for retention, or consulting on analytics?
