Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
To create a video in the style of the Stephen Fry Kinetic Typography video on YouTube using the supplied audio file and Adobe Illustrator graphic.
• As in the YouTube video that inspired this idea (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7E-aoXLZGY), the screen should be zoomed in tight on the text of the script that is arranged to spell out the letters ‘avn’ in the illustrator file.
• Ideally zoomed in enough so only around 5-10 words will appear on the screen at a time.
• As each word is spoken in the audio file, the corresponding word in the Illustrator file will need to be animated to appear on screen at the same time.
• The camera should move, rotate and pan around the Illustrator file to follow the words as they are animated to appear on screen in line with the script.
• Once the script has finished, the camera should zoom out to show the whole image including the stars and the word excellence. This will reveal that the words in the script have spelled out the letters ‘avn’ in the main image.
Further instruction:
• The script begins in the letter ‘a’ and all of the words within it will need to be animated. It starts at ‘Did you know…’ in the top left of the letter and follows the curve of the letter clockwise to end with ‘tax planning opportunities’.
• The camera then needs to move to the letter 'v’. It starts in the top left of the letter with the words ‘We ask for feedback’ and all of the words down to the word ‘quickly’ will need to be animated. The rest of the words included in the letter ‘v’ are there purely to fill up the space and don’t need to be animated.
• The camera then needs to move to the letter ‘n’. The script continues at the beginning of the curve of the letter with the words ‘You will be pleased to know…’ and the rest of the words following the curve of the n down to the word ‘journey’ will need to be animated. All of the words in the straight part of the letter are there purely to fill up the space and don’t need to be animated.
Not all the files will upload into the helpful materials box so we have placed all the relevant information into a folder on Dropbox - the link to the folder is here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/wwzninshkk5g1lj/AAAXmU8M8awvg7lwLeGaK_uea?dl=0
