Description
I'm looking for a skilled video editor to help bring my kids' gaming videos to life on YouTube. These are raw recordings of them playing popular games (like Roblox, Minecraft, etc.) with their voices captured during gameplay. The goal is to turn these clips into fun, fast-paced, high-energy videos that are engaging and entertaining for a young audience.
What I Need:
Edit raw footage (screen recordings + voice) into exciting 6–12 minute YouTube videos
Add zooms, pop-ups, memes, sound effects, subtitles, music, and transitions
Keep pacing quick and fun (think MrBeast-style energy, but for kids)
Add simple intros/outros if needed
Help with basic thumbnail ideas or screenshots (bonus)
You Should Have:
Experience editing for YouTube (especially kids/gaming content preferred)
A good sense of humour and timing
Ability to make content visually fun and fast-moving
Good communication and turnaround time
Example Channels I'm Inspired By:
Kintin Plays
FV Family
LankyBox
Project Scope:
This will be ongoing work — initially a few videos to test, with potential for weekly content if we’re a good fit. Each video is roughly 10–20 minutes of raw footage that needs to be cut down to something sharp and entertaining.
Please include in your proposal:
Examples of your previous work (ideally kids/gaming content)
Your rate per video or per minute
Estimated turnaround time
Looking forward to working with someone creative, reliable, and fun to work with!

Hey Damien,
Kindly address some of my concerns regarding the project so that I can deliver exactly what you are looking for:
- Would you prefer an editing pace that mirrors channels like LankyBox (super quick cuts, memes, punchlines every few seconds), or something slightly more story-driven like FV Family’s approach?
- Do your kids play recurring characters or have running jokes that I should highlight with custom pop-ups or recurring visual gags?
- Will the raw voice recordings need any cleanup (noise reduction, balancing), or would you prefer to keep the natural kid-style energy intact?
- Do your kids ever reference in-game events or jokes that could be enhanced with overlays (e.g., adding “rage face” pop-ups, jump-scares, or Roblox emotes)?
- Would you like short, vertical clips for YouTube Shorts or TikTok created from the same footage to boost your channel growth?
Thank You! -
Do your kids record their voices live while playing, or do you want post-recorded voice-overs too?
Would you like branded intros/outros and transitions developed as reusable assets?
Are there specific memes, sound effects, or editing styles they love watching on YouTube?
What’s your preferred upload frequency or long-term content goal for the channel?
Do you already have thumbnails in mind or want help creating a consistent style for those, too?
