Description
Experience Level: Entry
Hello all!
BONUS IF YOU LIVE IN LONDON AND CAN SPEAK SPANISH! We envisage this project will take 8-14 hours of work.
I’m looking for a video editing / film making guru (entry level is fine as long as you can do the job!) - if you can understand Spanish (fluently) it’s a humongous bonus! If not - don’t worry, although, we’ll have to find someone to work with you that does understand Spanish. I’m looking to work with someone long term. I’ll have projects in every few months. PS - we're after a professional short video and not a blockbuster with a huge budget. Please bear this in mind when putting through your proposals. Our in-house media team doesn't think the video should take more than 1-3 days to construct.
For this particular project:
I have just run a research study in Mexico with around 24 people - I requested that each person provided introduction videos of themselves and also videos of their friends / family / home life etc. I also have a load of still images to be included somehow. I would like to create a compilation video that presents all this footage and the images. The idea is that the finished video will be presented to my wider team in an effort to create empathy for the users we create products for. In short; we create a mobile application that is used in many countries, but we (the team) are located in London - so I want this *professional* video to connect with the team on an emotional level to remind them that we create a product for real people with real needs / wants / desires / motivations / beliefs etc.
It’s quite difficult to explain but I’m looking at the video being around 3-5 minutes? We can discuss finer details on Skype - or if you're in / around London, let's meet. I’d also like to be able to have unlimited amendments for the video so we can ensure it’s perfect. A lot of the videos are in Spanish and the final deliverable would need subtitling in English - so if you can speak Spanish it's a bonus, if not we'll find someone to work with you.
I haven’t received the final video files from our colleagues in Mexico yet (I won’t until 1st February) - I would like to have someone ready to get straight on this as soon as they come in with quite a quick turnaround (first revision provided by Monday 6th February). There will approximately be 75-150 videos to sift through (they range from a couple of seconds to 30 seconds in length) (no idea how many images; let's plan for... 200+?)
I want to create similar videos for our next target countries (hence why I would like to work with someone long term).
If you think you would be able to tackle this and output a very clean and professional video that will be engaging and exciting - please get in touch :-)
