Freelance Video Editor & Content Repurposing Specialist

I'm looking for a freelance video editor to help me turn existing video recordings into polished, engaging content for my teaching work, website and online platforms.

My work centres around personal growth, wellbeing and teaching, so I'm looking for someone with a sensitive, creative eye who can produce content that feels warm, natural and contemporary rather than overly corporate or heavily produced.

Initially, I'd like help editing existing Zoom and video recordings. This may include:

removing pauses, mistakes and unnecessary sections
improving sound and overall presentation
adding simple, tasteful titles and branding
incorporating occasional photographs, graphics or slides
creating shorter clips from longer recordings
adding captions where appropriate

Content repurposing is also something I'd particularly like help with.

I'm looking for someone who can review a longer piece of content and identify opportunities to turn it into several useful pieces — for example, short video clips, reels, quotes or extracts that could be shared across Substack, my website and social media.

I'd particularly value someone who can bring their own ideas and creative judgement to this process, rather than needing detailed instructions for every piece of content.

Experience with Canva or similar design tools would be useful, although not essential.

For this first project, I'd like to begin with a small paid trial using one of my existing recordings. If we work well together, there is potential for further freelance projects.
