Description
We are looking for a highly skilled video editor to develop a trauma-informed leadership training series. The roughly 17 videos, ranging from 2-7 minutes each, will educate health and social care professionals. Targeting engaging, professional learning, the editor must expertly integrate presenter footage with supporting visual elements. Superior motion graphic abilities are required to reinforce key concepts through callouts and other on-screen text. Across the entire series, a consistent clean style delivering accessible content is paramount.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience crafting educational or instructional videos. The ability to seamlessly blend multiple elements maintains audience focus on the material. Ensuring clarity and engagement maximizes learning impact. Excellent communication and deadline management allows addressing feedback and delivering final products efficiently.
Familiarity with trauma-informed practices or healthcare/social services is beneficial for contextualizing content. However, video editing prowess constitutes the core requirement. This impactful training series demands an editor highly skilled in educational content development through strategic use of visual storytelling and graphic elements. The right candidate will bring these leadership videos to life for professionals.

Hey Isobel,
Could you please address some of my concerns regarding the series:
- What is the primary objective of this training series — awareness, certification, behavior change, or compliance?
- Who is the intended audience (e.g., nurses, therapists, managers), and is there a specific tone or emotional approach you'd like to maintain throughout?
- Do you have any references or previous training videos that reflect the quality or style you're aiming for?
- Will I receive structured scripts and presenter footage separately, or are they already combined in a draft format?
- Are motion graphics expected to be fully custom, or do you have templates to follow/adapt for visual consistency?
- Would you prefer editing the full series in stages (e.g., 5 videos at a time), or all 17 at once?
- What is the expected turnaround time per batch or per video?
Thank you!
