Description
Experience Level: Entry
Estimated project duration: 1 - 6 months
The Royal College of Radiologists, like many similar organisations, has seen a huge increase in demand for educational webinars since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. We are producing far more recorded material, in .mp4 format, than usual which we wish to make available for on demand viewing, but do not have the capacity to edit all of this in house.
We are seeking a UK based individual to undertake basic off line editing e.g. top and tail to remove chat at the beginning and end, delete any long pauses, coughing etc. and remove, replace or add a citation to any copyrighted images that have been accidentally included. In addition, as these are largely covering medical topics, they need to be checked for patient-identifiable information which has to be removed or redacted.
You will be expected to have the available tools and experience to perform this support to the team. It is a requirement that you have ethernet (wired) connectivity. Each video may be up to an hour in length meaning that file sizes can become expansive and the expectation is that candidates will have the available bandwidth to easily either deliver finished products to the team or upload video files to a media file server via the internet.
Any offline edited videos should be delivered in H.264 codec in .mp4 format. Presentation videos (webinar recordings) can be at 20 frames per second
We are also currently in the process of moving from one webinar platform (GoToTraining) to another (GoToWebinar) and require the individual to migrate the pre-existing recordings from one platform to another, adjusting the web links from our website to the individual recordings to ensure that they remain viable.
We estimate this will require a total of 15 hours work per week for 4 weeks initially.
