LMA Fastrach and LMA Fastrach ETT 3D animation brief:
Background info:
The client is LMA http://www.lmaco.com a global market leader in laryngeal masks. We are a design agency that works directly with LMA, on a proportion of their design and marketing needs and we are now looking for a new animator to work on a video for us.
To design and complete a 3D animation that falls in line with a video that has been produced for a similar product. This is an Instruction for Use video for anesthetists to learn how to use the device during anesthesia of a patient. This will show the viewer an overview of the device itself and will go on to do a step-by-step guide to using it in surgery.
The video will be split into two sections, due to the video featuring a second device. So you could view the first without the second but the second wouldn’t be viewed without watching the first; there is a storyboard for each. The two device names are LMA Fastrach and LMA Fastrach ETT. The latter is only ever inserted into the patient once the first is securely in place.
The animation will need to be a life-like comparison to the device, anesthetist and patient. The animation will also need to show how the anatomy reacts to the device during insertion so will require extreme accuracy and attention to detail.
We will need to be able to review the progress of the animation throughout the process to ensure that it is representing the information appropriately and correctly.
