Description
Experience Level: Expert
I’m looking for an experienced photographer to visit 3 charities in London and undertake a photo shoot. This is part of a project on behalf of a large, UK corporate (banking sector).
I need to select the preferred photographer ASAP to get the project under way. I will aim to do this no later than Noon Thursday 10th Oct, but ideally before.
The brief:
There are two parts:
1. Action shots of work taking place, i.e. seminars, meetings, training events – this would be shots of participants and instructors/facilitators.
2. Informal, but stylish shots of the staff that will be working or leading for the organisations with regard to the funded work.
All shots will need to be done in a reportage style (no square-on head and shoulders shots) that is both informal, yet professional.
The job details are:
1. The deadline for submitting the images to me is Friday 18th Oct (midnight). This is non-moveable.
2. You will need to liaise directly with the charity to arrange a time that suits both parties to ensure you can get a range of images in the above scenarios (I’ll provide all details of the charity and put you in touch with them). If it is not possible to coincide your visit with a seminar/meeting/event, you will need to liaise with the named contact at the charity to stage similar settings in a way that the viewer would not know it had been staged.
3. Images will need to be delivered by Dropbox.
4. All images will need to be in high resolution, suitable for print and blowing up large scale (wall wraps etc.)
5. I’ll need a large number of images taken in order to select the best 20 images.
6. The ownership and rights to the images will become those of the end client (this will be confirmed and agreed via email so that there is a written record of this).
7. To demonstrate you’ve read the brief, start your message with ‘Danger Mouse’.
8. The budget is non-negotiable.
9. Payment is dependent on the client’s satisfaction. If you use PPH correctly you’ll get 50% in Escrow and the remainder paid as soon as the client has approved the images. (If your work is of a high standard there will be no issue here.)
You:
1. Quality over cost. While I can’t increase the budget, I’m also not interested in someone willing to do this for a tenner. The client is a high-profile client and all the images need to be of a consistent high standard.
2. You will need to be located relatively close to the charity in order to get the job arranged and completed before the deadline.
3. You will need professional equipment and the ability to post-process the images.
4. I have a number of these jobs needing carried out across the UK. If you are willing to travel and do more of them, see the other adverts I have placed and message me with a combined bid (these would still all be required by the stated deadline).
5. Points 1-8 in the job details are essential. It is a requirement of being awarded this job that you agree/commit to these.
Your bid:
1. Show me evidence of your reportage photography: links to previous clients, your website etc.
2. State your fee
3. Let me know how you want to approach the job
4. Outline the equipment you intend to use
Thanks
