Description
Experience Level: Expert
Project Brief – Website Hero Video
I am looking for an experienced video editor to create a high-quality website hero video from a selection of landscape and portrait video clips that I will supply.
Purpose
The finished video will sit full width across the top of our WordPress homepage and provide visitors with an immediate feel for Strong Life Care and the quality of life within our homes.
The emphasis is warmth, professionalism, happiness and person-centred care rather than simply showing activities.
The Audience
The video is aimed at:
Families looking for care for a loved one
Potential self-funding residents
Healthcare professionals
Local authority professionals
Future employees
It should create confidence within the first few seconds.
What I will provide
A selection of landscape and portrait video clips.
Footage of residents enjoying activities.
Staff interacting with residents.
Community engagement.
Gardens and outdoor spaces.
Smiling faces and genuine interactions.
Editing Style
The video should feel:
Warm
Professional
Modern
Aspirational
Authentic
Emotional without being sentimental
Please avoid gimmicky transitions or effects.
Requirements
Edit portrait footage creatively so it blends naturally with landscape footage. (Blurred backgrounds or tasteful cropping where appropriate.)
Colour correct all footage to give a consistent look.
Stabilise clips where possible.
Improve lighting where appropriate.
Keep movement smooth and flowing.
Use gentle cinematic transitions.
No stock footage.
No AI-generated imagery.
No watermarks.
Branding
The overall feel should reflect a premium care provider.
The video should communicate:
Compassion
Dignity
Independence
Community
Friendship
Safety
Happiness
Output
Approximately 60–90 seconds.
Optimised for website use (high quality but web-friendly file size).
Landscape 16:9.
MP4 (H.264).
Suitable for autoplay, muted and looping if required.
First few seconds should have immediate visual impact.
Music
Please use uplifting, modern, licensed background music suitable for healthcare/social care.
Final Deliverables
Final web-optimised MP4.
High-resolution master copy.
One round of amendments included.
The finished video should make families immediately think:
"This feels warm, welcoming and somewhere I'd be happy for my loved one to live." - Unfortunately the files are too large to share here.
