Description
Experience Level: Entry
I am looking for someone with experience in Vectorization (Raster to Vector) and Convert to 3D Solid (.stp).
Only react if you can do this in a few hours and within the budget.
The 2 drawings attached should become 2 seperate .stp files for use of waterjetting. The material we are waterjetting is 3 mm thick and the drawings should be 120 mm wide / diameter
Key Requirements for Waterjet Cutting
⚠️ Critical Checkpoints for CNC/Waterjet Geometry:
Closed Loops Only: The machine needs to know exactly what is "inside" (scrap) and "outside" (the part). An open path will cause a machine error.
Scale: Ensure your vector file is scaled to the exact real-world dimensions (in mm) you want the final pieces to be before exporting to STEP.
Lead-ins/Lead-outs: The waterjet pierces the material with a high-pressure blast before moving along the cut line. Your fabricator's CAM software will handle this, but keeping sharp corners perfectly clean in your CAD file helps optimize the entry paths.

Do you need the STEP files as flat 3mm thick solids extruded ready for the waterjet, or just the 2D closed loop profiles exported as STEP curves?
