Urgent image editing

I need to sharpen and improve an out of focus family group photo from a wedding, so it can sit alongside sharper images taken before and after.

Please see attached for example of how blurred. I don't believe it's just going to be a case of sharpening, it requires more contrasts, more clarity in those areas. I'm not expecting it to be as sharp as the other example provided (although that would be amazing if it was) ... I just need a usable file, that displays better on screen and has the potential to be printed.
