Hello ,
1. Resize & Crop Strategically
Resize the image proportionally, then crop it to 400 x 400.

This may cut off edges, so cropping must be done carefully to keep all faces/subjects centered.

2. Add Padding (Blur or Solid Background)
Maintain the full original image and add padding (top/bottom or sides) to make it square.

This keeps everyone visible and fills in extra space with a blurred background or a color that matches the image.

3. Scale Down & Fit Within 400x400
Scale the image down to fit within 400 x 400 without cropping.
