Estimated project duration: 3 - 4 weeks
We are a furniture retailer with an in-house photo studio. We have a handful of room scenes in varying complexity in need of editing.
Complex: full rooms that we have shot and staged in our studio and need new walls, flooring, doors, windows etc. The goal with these is to get as photo-realistic as possible, so attention to light, shadows, and perspective angles makes all the difference. Attached samples 1 and 2 are before and afters of similar work we've done.
Simple: small grouping of furniture in front of a white wall, that just need smaller touchups, color corrections, or rugs swapped out. Attached sample 3 is an example of this type of work.
Style: The end product should be as photo-realistic as possible, along the lines of what you would find on West Elm or Ikea’s website. We do not want HDR or overly contrast-y photos like you might find in real estate listings.
We Provide:
• photo from our shoot
• any alt shots with furniture added or removed for ease of editing (sometimes we’ll shoot a sideboard without props to make it easier to move items around, for example).
• design direction and inspiration, along with any assets we may have pulled like wall art or stock photography of architectural details.
• individual product images for color correction comparison.
Final deliverable: The layered .psd file for each scene with non-destructive editing (masking off things rather than deleting pixels) in case we need to change anything down the line.
