Description
I’m looking for a skilled video editor to collaborate with long-term so I can focus more on filming and growing the channel.
Responsibilities
• Edit 1–2 YouTube videos (long-form only) per week (typically 10–20 minutes each)
• Create and integrate slides and visuals that match my brand
• Add fitting b-roll where needed (from my B-Roll library)
• Create clean, minimal, professional edits (not over-the-top, but engaging and polished)
• Add titles, text overlays, and simple transitions consistent with my style
• Export videos optimized for YouTube and a podcast variation
• Communicate with me for feedback and iterate quickly when needed
What I’m Looking For (Value + Vibe)
• Reliable and consistent delivery
• Experience editing YouTube-style educational content
• Proficient in English for text and slides creation
• Someone who enjoys clean, modern and minimal editing styles (Ali Abdaal, Alex Hormozi, Diary of a CEO, Ed Lawrence)
Vision
My aim is to help people live healthier, calmer, and more intentional lives through breathwork and mindfulness. Ideally, I’d love to work with someone who resonates with that vision and cares about producing meaningful content—not just churning out edits.
Editing Skills
• Proficiency in Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve (Final Cut is a plus since I sometimes make tweaks myself)
• Graphic design / motion graphics experience
Compensation
I’m happy to pay $100–$200 per video depending on experience, complexity, and speed. Open to discussing per-hour or per-project pricing. Looking for a long-term partnership if we’re a good fit.
Hiring Process (Verification)
If this sounds interesting, I’d like to give you a short trial task: editing a 5–7 minute clip into a polished mini-video. This will help us both see if our styles align.
Here are some reference videos of some of my latest videos I edited:

How to Apply
• Write a short cover letter introducing yourself / bonus points for a short Loom video (1 min is enough)
• Include the word rabbit at the top so I know you read the description carefully
• Share links to 2–3 YouTube videos you’ve edited (long-form, talking-head for YT)
• Let me know your preferred software, turnaround time, and rate per video
Looking forward to finding someone who can join me long-term and bring these videos to life.

Hey Kitaro,
Kindly address some of my concerns regarding the project so that I can deliver something exactly like you are looking for:
– Since your goal is to create calm, intentional content, do you prefer edits that are completely invisible/clean (so viewers feel no distraction) or edits that subtly emphasize key teaching points with text, slides, or b-roll?
– You mentioned slides and visuals — would you like me to develop branded templates for recurring themes (e.g., breathing exercises, mindfulness science snippets) so they feel consistent across episodes?
– Since you’re also releasing a podcast variation, do you want me to create extra short-form repurposed clips (YouTube Shorts/IG Reels) from the same long-form edits to help grow the channel further?
– As your channel grows past 100k subs, are you also planning to expand into courses, membership platforms, or live trainings? If so, would you want me to also help with educational video assets beyond YouTube edits?
– Since you’re looking for reliability and consistency, do you see this role as strictly editing support or as a collaborator who can also suggest content structure ideas (e.g., hooks, pacing for retention, highlighting audience pain points)?
Thank you for your time!
