Video Editor to Cut Down Raw Footage for a YouTube Channel

We are a fast-growing YouTube channel with close to 500,000 subs that makes content about personal growth and lifestyle. I'll link our channel at the end of the description. We are looking for a video editor to help us cut down raw footage into usable segments for our YouTube channel. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, the ability to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines, and the creative vision to turn raw footage into usable footage that is organized according to our directions.

Responsibilities:

- Review and cut raw footage into usable segments
- Organize and label footage according to project specifications (see Loom video for more details)
- Collaborate with the production team to determine the best approach to cutting the footage
- Ensure all edits are seamless and meet the project's creative vision
- Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a video editor
- Proficiency in Final Cut Pro
- MUST use Final Cut Pro due to our cloud-based workflow
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a tea
- Speaks fluent English

We'll test a few people with a paid job that should take ~2 hours and then select one person for long-term work. We are not looking for creative edits, only for somebody to cut down raw footage.
