Ongoing Video Editor

Artiste Films is an established and rapidly growing film production company based in Australia (10+ years in operation). We are seeking a highly skilled, reliable, and adaptable All-Round Remote Video Editor to join our team on a long-term, job-by-job contractual basis. We are looking to partner with professionals who can seamlessly integrate into our workflow and deliver high-quality, polished products with minimal oversight.

Location Preference: Global remote candidates considered, with a focus on editors in Pakistan (PST/PKT Time Zone).

Key Requirements & Responsibilities
We require an all-round editor who can handle a project from start to finish, demonstrating complete ownership over the final product quality:

Adaptability: Proven ability to edit diverse content types, including:

Weddings, Engagements, and Events

Funerals and Memorials

Real Estate Walkthroughs

Dance Concerts and Corporate Videos

Full Production Skillset: The successful candidate must perform all post-production tasks, including:

Sourcing/Syncing media, crafting the narrative, and assembling the final cut.

Basic Color Grading/Correction.

Audio mixing, leveling, and tidy-ups (removing hums, background noise, etc.).

Independence: We require editors who can follow the client brief precisely. The first draft must be a polished, client-ready preview with color and audio work already applied, requiring no additional prompting or micromanagement from our team.

Technical Workflow & Integration
To ensure a smooth partnership, candidates should be proficient in the following:

Software: Proficiency in Final Cut Pro X (FCPX) is highly preferred. Please state your preferred NLE (Non-Linear Editor) if FCPX is not your primary tool.

Efficiency: Standard use of proxies and transcoded media to ensure fast, efficient editing workflows.

File Transfer: Must have reliable access to high-speed internet and familiarity with professional file transfer platforms (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox, Frame.io).

Our Revision and Feedback Process
Candidates must be comfortable working within our structured client feedback system:

Briefing: Editor receives the client brief document (converted from a Google Form).

Draft Submission: Editor submits the completed first draft.

Client Feedback: Clients provide specific revision notes using timecodes via a shared Google Sheet.

Revision: Editor accesses the Google Sheet to check off and implement changes in real-time.
