Experience Level: Expert
Project Overview: I run a YouTube channel featuring us as a cycling couple, exploring the world! I am looking for a editor to help me polish my videos, make the action pop, and create an engaging final product.
The Footage (Camera Profile):
Action POV: Insta360 Go 3S.
360 Camera: Insta360 X5 (Footage will be pre-reframed and provided as standard flat video files).
B-Roll: iPhone.
Editing Workflow & Requirements:
* Media & Cut: Follow a standard workflow. Organize the media, then chop out the boring parts (I use Cmd+B or Ctrl+B to blade cuts when I practice, but I need you to do the heavy lifting!).
Pacing & Action: This is a cycling channel, so Stabilization and Speed Ramping are critical! I need you to speed up the slow climbs and stabilize the bumpy descents so the viewer feels the thrill of the ride.
Color: A basic, vibrant color grade that makes the outdoor scenery and animals look natural and sunny.
Audio: Balance the audio, remove wind noise from the fast cycling sections, and add fun sound effects where applicbable. Also add music in the background, which does not scream standard YouTube library.
Deliver: Final export formatted for YouTube (16:9, High Quality).
Software Requirement: You must use DaVinci Resolve, and ideally, share the .drp (DaVinci Resolve Project) file with me at the end so I can open it on my free version and learn from your edits.
