Description
Experience Level: Expert
I am interested in creating a 15-30sec marketing video to quickly explain to someone what the food-ordering.com system can do and its benefits.
There is no specific format required (eg. dubbing or text only, etc) but you would be expected to deliver the script and complete end-result as well as the relevant source files.
The budget currently set is merely a placeholder, and there is no predefined budget as it all depends on the value for money you feel you can demonstrate.
Please ensure that in your response/bid you attach or include videos you have produced, which are as close as possible to the presentation style you have in mind.
---------------
But let me start by providing some sort of reference video as well as some context.
Here’s a video which demonstrates a system which can do order-at-table self-ordering by having the user to scan a QR code, then selecting items from the menu, paying on his phone and upon completion the order going to the kitchen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E6We1FrjajI The concept itself is quite straight forward and as a result relatively simple to put together a video/script for it.
However, the “product” I’ve created is far more complex for the simple reason that it does many things and in multiple ways. So let try and explain what it is: I developed a web/cloud based application to mainly use as the base for delivering a much bigger solution. However, this has evolved and developed and has become a system in its own right, able to do several things:
1. Online ordering
2. In-Store ordering (self-service kiosks, room service, order at table/beach (with/without QR code, and more)
3. Telephone ordering with CallerID
4. Table booking with pre-ordering
What's more it is able to do that in multiple languages (144 languages supported, and receipts can be printed at multiple locations in different languages. Eg. 2 English receipts at reception, Chinese In the kitchen, English and Chinese at bar, English receipt at accounting office). The same applies to countries, timezones, currencies… and as such it can be sold to hospitality (and hospitality related) businesses anywhere in the world, from hotels and casinos and theatres and restaurants to point of sales manufacturers and businesses wanting to make their own ordering platform to then offer as a service to businesses.
It is available at a one-time cost as a software licence -or- it can be rented for as little as £1/day.
The target audience for our system varies from restaurants , hospitality chains and caterers,, to event venues, mobile app developers and point of sale manufacturers. The benefits focus is different for each business but the list below is a good summary of the main ones:
• One time cost -or- extra low rental fee
• Not only for online orders. eg. self ordering kiosks, room service, order from table/beach, table booking with pre-ordering, and more.
• Premium features ranging from telephone orders via callerID and email/sms marketing, to time slots and Up/Cross-selling
• Reduce commissions to third parties like just eat, deliveroo, uber eats, etc
• Own all the sales/data
• Engage with customers directly
• Ability to customise to make it meet your needs.
• Source code available (Developer edition)
• Epson and Star accredited
• Works in all countries and languages
• Runs on your own website
Our system does not lock customers to specific payment and hardware suppliers. It supports (so far) about 9 payment gateways, 6 different printer types, and 108 languages, and direct integration to Google Maps (ie. any address existing on Google Maps exists in the system too).
With access to source code, which is available in the Developer Edition of the system, a client could customise our system to meet their needs and then sell it as a service or embed it into a mobile app, and more. As such, "competitors" can also be clients as they buy our system and then sell it to restaurants, etc as a service.
There are several solutions in the market for "online ordering" but our system is ahead by far when it comes to features such as telephone ordering, upselling/crossselling, and other functions. It is a lot more than just an ordering system and those using it extensively simply love it, as opposed to just liking it. …but when I ask them “how do I explain to someone who has never used it how and why this system is so much better” the answer is that it is very difficult if not impossible.
So with all the above in mind, it is not easy to explain to the common man what this system does (well I can but in his mind it is just one more online ordering system) and why it is so much better.
Therefore I was thinking of creating a 30sec video as a way of explaining all this but I am simply not sure how to cram so much information in yet keep it simple enough for someone to view without being overloaded or the video being too long.
What would you suggest?
