Description
I have recently started a wellbeing/ wellness blog/ website.
It's more of a hobby as I am not looking to make any money from it. I am however wanting to increase traffic on it, as I believe the content on there will be relevant to the masses and could effectively help/ guide people - which is really the goal.
As it's a non-for-profit project for me, I don't have funds to fund the project so it would need be a collab. I am looking to collab with a videographer / film maker to produce a short film to act as the background of the website (first thing for people to see as they first come on to the website, see: https://cambridgecookery.com/eat/, for an example).
The website is: towokesouls.com (@towokesouls on insta & twitter), I have some of my own ideas for content, etc... however i am fully open to ideas too. This project would suit anybody that is wanting to build their portfolio, experiment with new ideas and do something creative.
I will ofcourse credit you on the website.
Thanks!
A
Aksara I.

Can I just say that £6 is quite low. Are you open to paying a decent day rate? £150 - £200. I'd just like to point out the expense of travel, knowledge gained and applied, and equipment. It would cost you a lot to hire the equipment alone were you to do this yourself. £6 is extremely low for a job such as this.

Jonny K.22 Jan 2019Can I suggest that maybe you go for a non-profit platform... PPH is about paid work, not exposure

Hi,
Can I just ask, you say that this would be a "collab", but what would the videographer get from this? Would it be a percentage of profits from the site?
Thanks,
JamesAksara I.22 Jan 2019Hi,
There wouldn't be any commission no, as i've stated int he project details, this is a not-for-profit website and therefore there is no income from the website. It is a collaboration, as the videographer's input and ideas will be taken on board and implemented and he/she will be credited on the website, on social media platforms and anywhere else that the video is used. He/she can also use it as an example in their own portfolio, this project is aimed more at those that are looking to expand their creativity/ techniques and to build on their portfolio.
