We are an events co. We organise and build parties for clients in their gardens. We do lots of 18th, 21 and 40th Birthday parties in marquees. We supply everything needed for the party from the marquee to the catering, music, bars and staff etc.
We shoot about 10 to 15 mins of vid per event on a Sony PD190 onto mini DV.
We want this raw footage edited to make snappy 90 sec promos for our company. Not for the host of the party. We are not selling these vids to clients. Just using them to promo our co.
We have been editing these ourselves using a Mac and Imovie 6. This has worked for us in the past but we want a more polished and more pro look and more consistency.
The vids are posted on You tube and then embedded on our website.
The vids must be edited in Imovie (not worried about the version) or Final Cut Express. We want to be able to re edit the videos if needed, ourselves.
We would supply the footage on either a HD or USB Stick depending on the size of footage.
Please price per video. There are potentially 10 to do with more to come this summer.
Appart from the footage there are still photos and there will be some text to add in and our logo.
Can\'t show you an existing vid as not allowed to post contact details.
Very simple job that we can\'t see taking more than about 1 day per vid to do. There will be a lot of cutting of footage needed. But each vid needs to tell the story of the event.
Remember we are selling to prospective clients so each vid needs to take the viewer on a journey. From the build of the event to the event walkthrough (5 mins before the event opens) to the guests enjoying themselves late in the evening.
Each vid needs to reflect our co and the types of event we do. So for example the 18th birthday vid will need to appeal to 18 year olds and will be used to sell to potential clients for 18th parties.
40th will be used to sell to 40th etc.
