Job description
A start up Agency based in Central London, seeks an outgoing, intelligent person to join our growing team of creative thinkers. Our client base is predominantly within the fashion and retails sectors.
Photographers create permanent visual images for an exceptionally wide range of creative, technical and documentary purposes. A professional photographer usually works to a brief set by the client or employer. The ideal candidate will initially be working on producing a wide range of content for our online image library as well as working on a variety of client based projects. The candidate will have the opportunity to work and use our state of the art photography equipment.

Main Duties
• working with clients to discuss the images they require and how they want to use them;
• seeking out appropriate photographic subjects and opportunities;
• carrying out research and preparation for a shoot;
• working in different locations and in different circumstances to get the right image;
• using an extensive range of technical equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting and specialist software;
• communicating with photographic subjects, putting them at ease, encouraging them and directing them;
• arranging still life objects, products, scenes, props and backgrounds;
• liaising with other professionals, including graphic designers, writers and developers
• compiling finished products for sale, such as albums and framed prints;
• Responsible for all in-house photography across digital, social and printed media. You will be working to strict deadlines and expected to work autonomously.
• To contribute towards the research and development of ideas.
• To use your photography skills towards the creation of marketing materials, websites and other design products for our client base.
• To assist the creative director in working on projects and administrational tasks.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

Essential skills:
• The ability to take and edit quality shots to a professional standard
• To create accurate story boards
• Must be proficient in all Microsoft packages, Experience with Photoshop & InDesign

Desirable Skills:
• Any experience in Videography, Animation or Editing would be an advantage

Salary: GBP 7 - 9 Hourly rate
Experience required: 1+ years
Education required: Undergraduate degree
