Description

Experience Level: Expert
Estimated Job duration: Ongoing
I'm looking for a photo editor to clean up jewelry pictures to look REALISTIC, but nice. I have a relatively ongoing batch of 500+ images that need to be edited. So, I'm expecting a low price for each image mostly because it shouldn't take too long per img. Please send me your price per image.
If you don't understand how a product should be edited, feel free to always ask for clarification or questions.
Here are some guidelines/tips to follow:
Stones should never be replaced only adjusted by brightness/colors/sharpness.
General Steps:
Edit Hue/Saturation, separately for each color (red/yellow/blue/magenta/ect..)
Adjust levels/curves for pure white background.
Add unsharp mask to overall img, separate for diamonds
Edit for scratches/discoloration/blurryness/lint/dirty spots
Fix/Remake the back INSIDE band if needed, usually needed when it's not a solid look. Be careful about making 2 tones of colors.
Resize canvas to 2000x2000 and center the ring in the middle (if ring doesn't fit in 2000x2000, image size should be slightly reduced in order to make the product fit the 2000x2000 canvas size)
Brush the surroundings with white to ensure pure white (or cut the product and replace with white background)
Finish.
Earrings:
Must be on the same plane
Plastic piece should be removed
Should be straight and not angled/tilted
Shadow should be removed.
Only clasp and earring should be showing
Rings:
Small scratches that can’t be seen by naked eye should be removed (the camera sees more detail than the naked eye)
Picture should always look realistic (like the real product)
Odd reflections should be removed (usually the black spots)
Diamonds should be white, the center stone should always stand out from the small ones. (mostly in halo rings)
Inside of the back part of the band can be edited as provided in the example.
Any discoloration can be filled in.
Big scratches should be left alone because the naked eye can see them.
The ring shadow under the product should be left alone (makes an emphasis it’s real)
The shadows on/inside a ring can be edited to as if a light filled them in.
Necklaces/Pendants:
The chain should be shown, symmetrical, and not twisted.
The pendant should be in the center of the frame
Shadow should be removed.
Only chain and pendant should be showing
