Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
We require an episode of between 30 and 35mins duration (including all intros / outros) in the style of the examples which can be found at http://361podcast.com/ (Please note, the source files are approximately 45/50 minutes long).
The editor should use their own judgment to cut content to fit and edits should not be apparent to the listener.
Specific sound requirements:
• Use of filters / effects to the speakers’ tracks to give good clarity. Attempt to minimise the echo from the room as much as possible.
• Mix the speaker tracks (there are 3 speakers) with 1 panned slightly left, 1 centre and 1 panned slightly right.
• Normalise the speaker tracks to achieve even volume.
• Duck and fade intro / outro music similar to the example episode (to be provided)
Deliverable:
• Finished episode for publishing in an uncompressed audio format (AIFF preferred - we will handle transcoding).
• The edit packaged in the format of whichever tool is used (Audition, Logic, etc) so we could amend / re-use in future.
In the first instance, please quote your rate per episode and your experience. Recording takes place every 3/4 weeks, with 2-4 episodes recorded at a time, which are published weekly. So there will be an average of 4 sets of files to edit per month and the successful bidder will need to be a little flexible with timings as sometimes the production schedule (research/recording etc) is delayed and editing will need to be turned around pretty quickly - although usually you will have at least a week before the publication date. The work will be ongoing.
Thank you.
