Description
Experience Level: Expert
I'm launching new 5Rhythms Dance classes and workshops in the Reading area in 2013, and I need help finding a venue - some research has already been done, which I can give you, however nothing suitable has been found as yet
LOCATION - either in central Reading, or in the region of Pangbourne, Goring, Wallingford or Didcot - some sections to be excluded, I'll go through this with whoever takes the job - the location itself needs to be safe and pleasant
HALL - minimum 1600 sq ft, wooden floor, preferably sprung, maximum width:length ratio 5:8
FACILITIES - enough toilets for up to 40 people - lockable cupboard for equipment, to be left in between events - parking is desirable but not vital
HIRE PRICES - this is not a profit making exercise - maximum £25 per hour
CLASSES & WORKSHOPS SCHEDULE - Thursday mornings 1000-1200, - plus the occasional weekend for workshops, Friday evening 1700-1900, Saturday and Sunday 1030-1730 - we'll need access to the hall for half an hour before and after each session for setup and takedown, and extra time for weekend workshop setup
At this stage I'm looking for a shortlist of venues that fit the criteria above, with contact details and any notes that seem relevant - once that's been created, I may ask you to call them with a few more questions, or I may simply visit them, it depends on the data
I'm looking to secure a venue and book the dates by the end of May 2012, and in order to do this I'd like the shortlist by mid-April
I'm not sure how long this task should take, or what the pay should be, I'll be looking at the bids to give me an idea of the range of services and fee structures on offer - I'm open to considering both hourly fees and a fixed price for the job
If you're interested please be as specific as you can in your bid, and expect a response from me next week (w/b 26th March)
Thanks for reading
