Content Writer: Guide to Scratch for Teachers
Robotical Ltd. is on a mission to bring learning alive with Marty - our walking, dancing, eye-brow wiggling robot that teaches kids to think differently.
We work with schools and teachers around the world, helping them teach the next generation to take their first steps into the world of coding with Marty and Scratch (https://scratch.mit.edu/). With many teachers wanting more confidence in leading lessons about coding with students, we want to support them with a guide on how to use Scratch.
We are looking for a content writer who has some knowledge of digital education and understands the Scratch block-based coding platform enough in order to write a short 2-3 page getting started guide for teachers.
We would like the Guide to Scratch to be written assuming limited prior knowledge from the reader. A general ‘getting started section’ could precede a more in-depth activity pertaining to a specific area of Scratch.
The guide need not be fully comprehensive - but must offer a progression for the readers from basic block-based programming to unlocking some lesser-known corners of the platform. We are looking for the basics of Scratch and an explanation of the different code block categories that are available.
The guide should be no more than 3 pages long and in the format of a word document.

Hi ...can you please clarify if you are just after a written guide / script or if it is video explanation that you prefer.?
Robotical Ltd02 Mar 2020Hi Annmarie, great question! We're aiming for a written guide in this instance but we may look for a video explainer video as a future project
