Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I need a planning appraisal done for a piece of land (former bowling green) to the rear of a sports club in the Manchester (UK) area.
The bowling green on land to the rear of the Club’s building is now little used. The Club therefore wants to explore the possibilities for obtaining a planning consent for alternative use on the land and/or disposing of it with the proceeds being devoted to Club purposes.
Bidders must have UK planning experience (i.e experience/qualifications in Town and Country Planning - preferably a chartered or even licentiate member if the RTPI).
From personal expereince, this is likely to take 2-3 hours, so would think that £50-60 as a fixed fee would be appropriate.
Full details (i.e. address of job) to be sent to bidders upon acceptance of the job.
Requirements:
investigate local planning policies and zoning that will influence the potential for alternative use consent, to allow us to identify the elements that a
successful scheme would have (for example, the type of housing units it should contain). It will be to report to the Club on the initial prospects for success and any options there may be.
