The following is a list of survey work to be carried out for this property, with attention to the back of the house (kitchen, upstairs bathroom and bedroom area).
Description
General Items
1 Survey to be provided in printed form and in digital format suitable to be used by Microstation ie. Dgn or dwg format.
2 Survey drawing to be based on Ordnance Survey Co-ordinates.
3 Internal layout to the back of the house and the external ground on the Garden.
Detail Items
External In Plan- at the garden from the back of the house.
3 The proximity of the nearest buildings in distance and their height. To include the eave and ridge of the roof.
4 The external openings of the nearest building.
5 If there’s any tree within and/or either side of the garden fence. Tree’s location and their height and size of the canopy,
6 The boundary fence- the ground level of the fence and the height of the fence in every two meters in length and at all corners of the boundary.
7 The external ground level at the building footprint at every two metres, especially at the door threshold.
8 Indicate location of any external drains/ manholes.
Elevation of the back and side (from the garden).
9 All the external openings in size and in height.
10 The height of roof. This is to include the ridge, eaves and gutter and the changes in angle of the roof.
11 The height of any vents and chimneys if any.
12 The height of the eave from the front of the house.
Internal Layout in Plan
13 Floor plan for both ground and first floor. All the location of the internal wall, internal and external openings. This is to include the thickness of the wall, any service cupboard, radiators locations and sanitary wares & drain point.
14 The height of all the internal openings.
15 The FFL (finish floor level height) and ceiling height of all the rooms, hallways and stair landing. This is to include any bulkheads if found.
16 The stairs- The number of treads, their width, the depth and the height of the risers. The FFL of all landings.
17 Location of any access hatch.
18 If possible, please indicate the structural elements of the house.
