Description
Experience Level: Expert
Greetings from team Fabelizer!
Fabelizer creates magical visual experiences for young children. Our guiding vision is to create a global community of children bound by strong morals and values through visual content. By creating heroes that embody values like friendship, generosity and courage, the Fabelizer brand will be synonymous with safe, non-violent, non-stereotypical and unadulterated content for children. Fabelizer is committed to creating impact for children across the world, by giving them quality content to learn from and be entertained by. We believe that social impact is not only about poverty but about exclusion from society. For too long the needs of young children have been neglected in the media industry. Fabelizer aims to resolve this issue by creating quality content dedicated to children in a consolidated and scalable manner.
We are looking for Language Translators for our comic books.
Below is a run-through of the translation and QC process, and what each level is responsible for:
Step 1: Fabelizer’s internal team will use online translating tools like Google Translate to create a first draft of the English script to the assigned language of translation.
Step 2: We will provide you with this translated script and for you to go through and check, correcting all the grammar, phrasing, verbs etc to make sure it sounds correct as per colloquial style (we know how sometimes written language and spoken languages vary and we want the script to make sense as a spoken language). This will need to be done with a tracker on, so we can clearly understand the changes made by the Fabelizer empaneled translator. This level of translator will be called First Level Language Expert.
Step 3: Second quality check, where corrections made to the script and voices in step two are subject to approval or rejection. This level of translator will be called the Second Level Language Expert.
Note: First level and Second level Language Experts are different teams. This level translator will have access to the comic book.
Step 4: Fabelizer’s internal team then adds the approved, translated text into the comic book, while the approved script goes for recording by the Voice Over Artist.
Step 5: SECOND LEVEL LANGUAGE EXPERTS – FINAL QUALITY CHECK
After completion of the Comic Book with the translated text and new Voice Recording, the final product is sent for review. You will need to recheck the dialogues and ensure they are entirely correct and sound natural in the translated language.
The Required Languages for Comic book translation are follows:
1. Korean
2. Hindi
3. Bengali
4. Tamil
5. Spanish
6. Portuguese
7. French
8. Mandarin
9. Arabic
10. Japanese
We would be glad to have you onboard for this.
Let me know if this interests you!
