Description of requirements/features: I need assistance writing a HTACCESS file with multiple rules. I have switched server architecture from IIS to Apache and are facing issues with the rewrites. The inbound URL's are formatted such that there are a variable number of parameters (one or two) - that must pass to the relevant url, for example:

domain.com/dashboard Rewrites to (index.php?param1=dashboard)
domain.com/dashboard/ Rewrites to (index.php?param1=dashboard)

domain.com/dashboard/account Rewrites to (index.php?param1=dashboard&param2=account)
domain.com/dashboard/account/ Rewrites to (index.php?param1=dashboard&param2=account)

note the trailing slashes

Ideally, I'd also like to exclude all media directories from the rewrite, as at present I am overriding this rule in each excluded directory.
