We are an established Irish wholesale business running a WooCommerce store at rosevel.ie. We are looking for one reliable developer to handle an initial setup task and then stay on as our go-to person for all ongoing WordPress/WooCommerce maintenance and support.
Phase 1 — initial task (fixed price)
Set up a 301 redirect from rosevel.com to rosevel.ie so that any visitor arriving at the .com domain is seamlessly redirected to our main site. Specifically:
Configure DNS for rosevel.com to point to our existing hosting
Set up 301 redirects from all rosevel.com URLs to their matching rosevel.ie pages
Confirm canonical tags are correctly set on rosevel.ie
Add rosevel.com to Google Search Console and verify SEO value is passing correctly
Test all redirects and provide a short written confirmation once live
Phase 2 — ongoing monthly retainer
Once the initial task is complete, we want the same person to stay on for monthly maintenance and support of rosevel.ie, covering:
WordPress core, plugin and theme updates
Security monitoring and malware checks
Regular backups and restore testing
Site speed and performance checks
Ad hoc fixes and small development requests as they arise
Monthly summary report of all work carried out
Requirements
Proven WordPress/WooCommerce experience — please share relevant examples
Experience with DNS, domain management and 301 redirects
Comfortable with cPanel, Cloudflare or managed WordPress hosting
Reliable, proactive communicator — we want someone who flags issues before they become problems

Hello Jana, could you please confirm if you’ll be able to share access to your domain and website hosting? Also, is there anything already set up on the .com site that you’d like to keep? Roughly how many pages does your website have? Do you already use Google Search Console, or would you like me to set that up for you? And for ongoing support, how quickly would you usually expect help when something comes up?
