WordPress - very simple template formatting for new user!!

Hello - as a brand new WordPress user, I'm looking for a UK or US-based programmer to assist me alter a standard \"Twenty Ten 1.1\" WP template. I'm sure it's really simple - just need to insert some graphics, change a footer and need to designate a free text area on the home page. I'd like to do this in real-time on the telephone, whilst you tweak the template.
