Description
Experience Level: Entry
General information for the website: Law firm website
Kind of development: New website from scratch
Description of every page/module: We are looking to put in place a basic site that will attract recognition from Google in its search category for law firms in the UK - we will add in some text with a few keywords for Google to latch onto once the basic site is up. The domain name this is for is essentiallaw.co.uk. There is no website for it currently. We are planning on replacing this site in about 5 months' time with a more highly customised website, so at this stage we just need one that uses a standard WordPress theme and allows us to upload an image or two and a bit of basic text. It does not need to be interactive at all (e.g. there is no need for a "contact us" form that could be filled in and which would generate an email) and no products will be sold through it, so it does not need any payment gateway.
We will need 4 pages:
1. Home page
2. Who we are / Meet the team
3. Specialist areas of law
4. Contact us page
The home page will contain room for a photo, a logo (we will upload it later) and some text. It would also have an index to the other 3 pages. The text we will upload later, so it can just be filler text for now.
The "Who we are / Meet the team" page will have room for a photo and some text (filler text for now).
The "Specialist areas of law" page will need room for a heading and some text at the top (filler text for now), then 2 rows beneath, with 2 text boxes on each row. Each text box will have a heading and room for some text. The boxes' headings will be:
1. Commercial Contracts & Company Law
2. Commercial Property
3. Employment Law
4. Commercial Disputes
The text in each box will be brief and can just be filler text at this stage, so only a little room in each box is needed.
The "contact us" page will simply say that they can contact us using any of the following methods and it will then list the usual details: email address, telephone number, office address. (No need for a Google map for the location at this point.) We will upload the actual contact details later, so again just filler text for now.
Many thanks. Do contact us if you have any queries.
Description of requirements/features: The Home page will contain links to the other 3 pages. The website will be very basic for now and contain no other interactive features.
