Description
Background:
My WordPress blog at dawid.com has been lost due to a hosting cancellation. The site has been archived 131 times by the Wayback Machine, with the most recent snapshot from February 2026. All blog posts appear to be intact in the archive going back to 2011.
What I need:
1. Scrape and extract all blog post content from the Wayback Machine archives for dawid.com
2. Convert the content into a WordPress-compatible import file
3. Set up the fresh WordPress installation already in place on my 123Reg Managed WordPress hosting
4. Import all recovered blog posts with correct titles, dates, and content
5. Apply a clean, simple theme that matches the original site's style (personal blog)
6. Confirm DNS records are correctly pointed to the new hosting
The archived site is here:
https://web.archive.org/web/20240912225446/https://www.dawid.com
What I can provide:
- Access to my WordPress admin dashboard
- Access to my domain DNS settings
- The full list of archived URLs from the Wayback Machine
Important:
- Please only apply if you have experience with WordPress migration or content scraping
- Tell me in your application how you would approach the content extraction
- I will not pay in full upfront — happy to use PeoplePerHour escrow
Looking for someone reliable, communicative, and able to start promptly. Please include examples of similar work.

Hello Dawid.
How many posts are there approximately?
Thanks. -
Would you like a complete WordPress recovery and migration service where all your archived blog content is extracted from the Wayback Machine + converted into a clean WordPress import file + restored with correct titles, dates, and formatting + a fresh WordPress installation configured on your existing hosting + a simple, clean blog theme applied to match your original style + full DNS verification and setup confirmation to ensure the domain is correctly connected + plus a structured recovery approach ensuring no posts are missed and your blog is fully rebuilt from 2011–2026 archive data in a stable, SEO-friendly format?
-

can you please tell if you want to recover only blog posts or also pages, images, and media from the Wayback Machine archive?
-

Quick questions:
- Do you want images fully restored as well, or is text content the priority?
- Should we keep the exact original URLs/slug structure for SEO continuity?
