Our WordPress website for the Access and Safety Store has become outdated and is now performing poorly. Over the years, multiple updates and plugin additions have bloated the site, and we’ve recently experienced malware issues and IP bombardment.

We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer to carry out a comprehensive update and optimisation, including:

Key Tasks:
Audit and clean up the site (remove or replace unnecessary or outdated plugins)
Improve site speed and overall performance
Strengthen security (recommend and implement protection from malware and attacks)
Review and improve SEO basics (metadata, sitemaps, crawlability, indexing)
Ensure compatibility across all devices and browsers
Advise on any necessary hosting or theme upgrades

Requirements:
Proven experience in WordPress development, speed optimisation, and security
Knowledge of SEO best practices
Strong communication skills
Ability to explain what was changed and why
