WordPress Plugin Development - Display Categories

Client has a WordPress website that lists all Posts in a Query Loop Block. We need to be able to display Sub-Categories from a specific Parent Category on each post. Each post will have two of these plugins active at a time, one displaying any assigned sub-categories from Parent Category A, and another displaying any assigned sub-categories from Parent Category B.

- We do not want to display the Parent Category.
- We want to be able to use this plugin to select any Parent category in the future.
- The website is built with Kadence Blocks Theme, yet the Query Loop is the default WordPress block.
- WordPress version is 6.7.1.
- PHP version is 8.1.31.

This is possible with a plugin, but we are open to alternative methods if it is easier or better performance for a WordPress website.
