Description
Experience Level: Expert
Looking for someone who can develop a plugin for my WordPress website that handles orders. You can use existing plugins from the WordPress Plugin Directory to help tie things together. I think some of my requirements (e.g. login form) will be needed.
Here's what's needed for the user end of the WordPress installation:
1 - A registration form for user details which upon submit sends an email with activation link.
2 - When user activates account, the admin and user receives an email to say account is activated.
3 - From the dashboard, admin clicks the user account and adds items to user that they are allowed to order.
4 - User can login and place an order request for items on their account by clicking a tick box on each item then clicking Submit.
5 - Automatic email sent to user to thank them for order, and email sent to admin saying there is an order
6 - Admin clicks order, and then marks the order as Ready/Complete.
7 - User receives another email to say order is Ready/Complete.
Naturally the user when logging in can edit their user details they submitted upon registration and view previous orders. And naturally the admin can view on the dashboard the user accounts, open/closed orders and also edit the email templates.
That's it! Quite a straight forward process which no doubt requires some technical knowledge of tying together existing WordPress plugins and also being able to modify some of the code.
You need not worry about the design of the site, so no CSS is required as this will be done elsewhere so in terms of the way it looks it will not matter. I'm just after the functionality.
Thanks.
