WordPress (Oxygen) Developer – Project Pitch

Overview
Taylor Services Decorating is a premium decorating business in Kent. The website uses Oxygen Builder and is
hosted on SiteGround. We are seeking an experienced Oxygen developer for a focused clean-up and optimisation
project.

Key Work
• Remove all Smart Design branding and legacy assets
• Fix a mobile-only issue where the contact form does not display on the Contact page
• Build a clean blog index and single post template using Oxygen (use staging site on SiteGround, check if upgrade required).
• Performance optimisation (database cleanup, caching review, mixed content fixes)
• Review disk usage following staging removal and reduce further where safe

What We’re Looking For
• Strong Oxygen Builder experience
• Comfortable with SiteGround staging and caching
• Clean, considered approach (no unnecessary plugins)

Important Notes
The live site must not be disrupted
Staging preferred for changes where appropriate
No unnecessary plugins
Clear communication and confirmation before deletions
The SiteGround staging site has already been deleted to reduce disk usage. Future staging should only be created
for the blog and configured efficiently.
