Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Let me introduce first and tell you what I do at this moment:
I'm a part-time self-employed photographer doing mainly weddings and documentary work. One of the services newly married couples get is a collection of the photo (usually around 25-50) that I put on the sub-domain of my current website. The gallery can be shared with friends and family and stays online during one year. The last 3 years, I have been adding the photos into a SlideShowPro player (using Director) and having it displayed in a custom made flash player (with fallback for mobile users). To put new photos online for a project, it easily takes me 1 or 2 hours to get the job done.
What I want:
A wordpress multisite that cuts back my managing time to the minimum. Not perfectly aware how multisite works.. but the global idea is I create a new page (or post) which automatically can be accessed from a sub domain. (if domain.com is the main site, project.domain.com is assigned for every new project).
Each project page would contain:
- title
- description
- gallery (style to be defined, but full width or lightbox browsing should be possible)
- comments
- social share plugins: Facebook, twitter, pinterest
- Google Analytics
- feel free to give suggestions once the project gets started
For the design i'm open for suggestions: start from an existing template or if you have the skills: make something unique. Minimalism is important.
Thank you for considering this project.
If you think you can get the job done not using Wordpress, your bid is also welcome, but please add extra lines why I should go for that.
