Our WordPress e-commerce website (WooCommerce storefront) has accumulated too much legacy code bloat and messy styling over time, causing high database loads and visible rendering issues within the checkout and product catalog layouts.
We need a clean-code developer to focus strictly on technical execution and performance optimization.
What needs to be done:
- Perform a thorough WooCommerce performance audit and optimize core asset loading.
- Move layout elements to lightweight native blocks or Advanced Custom Fields (ACF Pro). Heavy builders like Elementor/Divi are strictly prohibited.
- Resolve frontend interface alignment errors and fix broken responsive viewports on mobile devices.
- Preserve 100% of our existing URL paths, SEO structures, and historical database records (orders/customers).
No visual redesign or branding overhaul is needed. This is purely a technical optimization and code-cleanup task.
