Description
The header video (MP4 that loops) functions fine on the home page of a desktop website, but not the mobile version. The template is responsive.
Have tested Safari and Chrome browsers, the video does not play on the mobile version. On the mobile version it just places an image (screenshot of the video). I would also like there to be a button the user can click to view the full video like in these two websites:
https://incognitosystems.co.uk/
and this one
https://lakesdecking.co.uk/
This functionality (video, button, play of full video) needs to work on both desktop and mobile version of website.
I can provide the link to the client website upon request.
I have set the budget at £180 but unsure how much a fix like this would cost.

Hi Sara,
Based on the information provided, £180 appears more than sufficient for the requested functionality. Once we review your Weebly website, we'll confirm the exact scope and provide a fixed quotation before starting.
Could you please share:
1. The URL of the existing Weebly website.
2. Whether the header video is embedded directly or hosted through a third-party service.
3. If you have the original MP4 file available.
We look forward to helping you get the video working seamlessly on both desktop and mobile.
Kind regards. -

Should the full-video button open the video in an on-page overlay, or would another supported playback route within Weebly be acceptable?
-

Do you have the Figma mockup designs ready for the job?
-

Is the header video hosted directly in Weebly, or is it embedded from YouTube, Vimeo, or another hosting platform?
Are you using a standard Weebly theme or a custom theme with modified HTML/CSS/JavaScript?
Do you want the mobile experience to attempt autoplay where supported, or should it always show a "Play Video" button for maximum compatibility across iOS and Android?
Are you happy for the full video to open in a lightbox/modal like your reference sites, or would you prefer it to play on a dedicated page?
Do you have access to edit the theme code (HTML/CSS/JavaScript), or only the standard Weebly editor?
