Hi,
We have an outdated WordPress website that hasn't been maintained and/or updated for quite sometimes.

Current WP version is 5.8, there are messages that PHP needs to be updated too, and various plugins needs updates too.
We also have error messages when uploading new pictures to the Gallery.
And general cleanup / maintenance.

    Is this a live website, or do you have a staging copy for updates? Is the gallery upload issue affecting all images or only certain file types?

    Can you share the URL of the site?
    This will help assess the current state and in turn send a meaningful proposal with recommendations and strategy for the updating process.

    Can you also confirm your current hosting provider and that you have access to the hosting dashboard?
    This is to do with PHP version update and possibly the backup process.
